Capital Campaign: Planted Together
A Shared Legacy.
A Shared Calling.
A Shared Future.
Risking Something Big for Something Good.
The Planted Together Campaign seeks to raise $500,000 to support the renovations of the sanctuary building. This isn’t just about renovation; it’s about renewal. We’re expanding our capacity to do ministry boldly, sustainably, and for generations to come.
The Goal of Planted Together is to raise $500,000. These funds will allow us to:
Complete the sanctuary renovation without needing to rely on debt. While we already have enough pledged to cover the cost of the renovation, some of these pledges will be fulfilled over time. This creates the possibility that we may need to take out a short-term loan to cover expenses as they come due. If enough gifts are received through this campaign, we will be able to finish the project without taking on debt, keeping Woodland’s resources focused on ministry rather than loan payments.
Replenish the Legacy Fund. We drew from this fund to begin the renovation with confidence. Restoring it now ensures we leave a strong financial foundation for those who will come after us.
“Like a tree, the church flourishes because of its deep roots and new growth. We share a legacy of faithfulness handed down to us, a calling to steward what God has entrusted to us, and a future shaped by our faith and generosity today.”

A successful giving campaign would allow us to cash flow the project instead of taking an interim construction loan. It would also refill our Building Fund for emergencies. Plus, it would affirm to our future estate donors and the foundation that we are joyful partners and participants not just bystanders. Most importantly it would challenge and bless Woodland and its members to invest deeply in the future of God’s people in this place.
