Pastoral letter, from Jana

It's hard to believe how fast summer is passing by. Last week, we had Vacation Bible School (VBS) at Woodland! We had 49 enthusiastic students, seven dedicated youth, and a group of amazing adults. It was a time of growth, learning, and joy as we watched our children and youth engage, learn, and deepen their understanding of God's love. It was a powerful reminder of why we do what we do. Thank you to everyone who contributed their time, talents, and resources to make VBS a success.

I'm excited to announce that this coming Friday, July 19th, will be Youth Movie Night and Parent's Night Out. It's a fantastic opportunity for our youth to bond and have an enjoyable evening together. Equally important, it's a chance for parents to take a well-deserved break, knowing their children are in good hands. We encourage you to take advantage of this and invite friends who might benefit from this time of fellowship.

As I reflect on these events, I am reminded of a truth that has become clear to me in ministry to you all. Through shared experiences and moments of connection, we embody our mission by fostering a community that reflects God's love in all we do.

Thank you for being a part of this vibrant community at Woodland. I eagerly look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events and continuing our journey together in faith. Let's make the days to come a memorable and enriching experience for all of us.

Grace and Peace,
Jana Atkinson Morga
