This Sunday night is our annual Woodland Thanksgiving Dinner. That night will be a night of laughter and gratitude. We have three guest comedians coming. Their jokes will be better than my measly efforts above. 

Reserve your spot today. You do not want to miss this special night. This will also be the conclusion of our Planted Together campaign. If you submit your pledge by Sunday morning, we can report our progress on Sunday night. 

The Thanksgiving dinner and celebration will take place at TriPoint (3233 N St. Mary’s St, San Antonio, TX 78212). TriPoint is a multi-purpose facility owned by Trinity Baptist. It’s a large space accustomed to groups like ours.   

KidzSing starts this Sunday after the 11:00 a.m. service. The kids will depart during the singing of the final doxology and go to the Choir Room, where we will meet for 14 minutes. The goal of this session is to prepare the children to sing as a part of the Advent III Concert on December 14 at Alamo Heights UMC. 

LifeTimers will meet this Thursday. Sid Christenson of the San Antonio Express-News will be our guest speaker this week. 

Lonnie Shuler’s memorial service is Thursday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. in Maresh Hall. A reception will follow in the atrium.
