Texas has recently removed over 1.1 million names from their registered voters rolls. States are required to regularly update their voter registration lists to remove people who have died, moved, or been found to be ineligible for other reasons. Some names ended up on the “suspended list.” This can happen for a number of reasons.
Have you been removed or placed on the suspended list? You can find out by clicking here. It is not too late to register to vote or to re-register to vote.
WE HAD 12 PEOPLE HELP WRITE POSTCARDS!
We wrote 160 postcards through Get Out The Vote with the Center for Common Ground on Sunday, October 13, right after worship. This is a nonpartisan effort to encourage traditionally disenfranchised voters to vote. The list we were given were for black women who are registered voters in Harris County.
