Did You Know — Encourager Church

This coming Sunday we will be signing a partnership agreement between Woodland Church, CBF, and Elket Rodriguez. We will be an Encourager Church for Elket.

CBF Encourager Churches become partners for the work of CBF Global Missions around the world. This partnership invites churches to have a unique personal relationship in global missions and unites churches with the ongoing mission work in CBF’s three contexts: global poverty, global migration, and the global church. It helps churches gain the historic role of sending members of its body into the world as we cultivate beloved community, bear witness to Jesus Christ, and seek transformational development.

We entered this agreement in July 2023 with Jeff and Alicia Lee, CBF Field Personnel in North Macedonia.

We agree to provide prayer support by regularly praying for Elket, his family, and his ministry. We will promote ways to grow in our involvement in missions with short-term mission engagement, mission bible studies. We will continue to provide financial support for Elket, CBF, and the Offering for Global Missions.

This new level of partnership with Elket is a natural next step for Woodland Church. We can look forward to our relationship with Elket growing and our understanding of the call of Christ to serve and to be present through prayer.
