The CBF Offering for Global Missions is the primary source of support ensuring the long-term presence of field personnel worldwide — funding salaries, benefits, housing costs, and children’s educational needs. 100 percent of these offerings keep our CBF field personnel on the field.

The Offering for Global Missions provides for the long-term presence of CBF Global Missions field personnel.

God is doing transformative work around the world. Joining God in this work transforms CBF field personnel and those they serve alongside.

This year’s Offering for Global Missions draws inspiration from Isaiah 43, where the prophet speaks of God doing a new thing, offering hope in our complex world. Just as the Jewish exiles in Babylon faced daunting challenges and were encouraged to look for God’s new way, we, too, are invited to embrace God’s renewal. CBF field personnel embody the new work of God by addressing fundamental needs and sharing the hope and healing of Christ Jesus.

Pray for God’s transforming power to change the lives of CBF field personnel and the Global Church.

Long-term presence allows CBF field personnel to help others
transform their lives even as they themselves are transformed.

  • They encourage, work, and minister with the Global Church as well as those living in poverty.

  • They offer language acquisition opportunities.

  • They cultivate safe spaces for community building, stability and friendships.

  • They address prejudices and racism.

  • They provide scholarships for higher education.

  • They provide tools and resources to equip pastors and church leaders.

  • They provide space for believers to come together for music and worship.

  • They share the good news of Jesus Christ in culturally relevant ways.

  • And because of your support for the Offering for Global Missions, they can do so much more.

SIX WAYS TO PRAY:

  1. Pray for the Offering for Global Missions (OGM) which provides for field personnel presence in 20 countries around the world. The OGM supports their salary, benefits and housing.

  2. Pray for the presence of CBF field personnel which builds trust through long-term relationships made possible by the OGM.

  3. Pray that as field personnel and the Global Church are transformed God will be glorified forever and ever.

  4. Pray that lives will be transformed by the long-term presence of CBF field personnel.

  5. Pray for CBF field personnel as they join in God’s transforming work.

  6. Praise for God’s transforming grace which springs forth like rivers in the desert around the globe.
