Luke 1:46‐48
Reading Luke’s message I am reminded of the many blessings the Lord has for his children. Blessed to have the love and promises he holds for all. It is through Jesus’ love that we know joy.
I am blessed to have the opportunity to change lives daily through my work. I experience much joy as I see smiles in the faces of children as they achieve what they once couldn’t do, and joy for parents as they watch their children reach a new milestone or accomplishment. What seems to come naturally for most children isn’t always easy for those I work with. I was working on writing this message when I received an email from a parent who was rejoicing because her daughter looked at her the previous night and told her “good night” when going to bed. While this might seem a minor task for most children, it was a huge moment of wonder and appreciation for this mother. Let us delight in the little things, they truly are great.
I have often felt my career path, and all it has offered me, was a result of divine intervention. I am often reminded that God has a plan for us. The challenges in what I do are often huge, but the rewards are equally great.
May we go forth, grateful for the blessings the Lord has for us, and may we find joy in knowing his love and all this holds for us.
