Recycling – Aluminum, Tin, & Metal (Iron) Cans – [GAPP]
Developed in the early 1800’s, it is the most abundant metal, yet the last to be developed. Tin, on the other hand, is one of the oldest (3,500 BC). Steel has been around since the 1400’s BC. The Bessemer process, in use in 1848, created a multitude of recyclable items. Products include foods & drinks cans, aerosol, & baking tins.
